Hi, I’m Susan, a registered yoga teacher. Pictured above is me with our family pet, Lager, a Goldendoodle. I received my 200-hour yoga teacher training from Your Yoga Flow (formerly Yogacara Global) in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. I completed my 300-hour advanced training online from Your Yoga Flow. For me, yoga is about creating space. From my immersion training in Costa Rica, it was on a meditative nature walk that I noted how nature takes up space. If a plant wanted to grow from a tree, it just grew, and the tree made space and the plant made space. As in life, we are created to “take up space.” Life has a purpose and through yoga connecting breath and body movement space is made. I enjoy teaching gentle yoga to all levels, working on flexibility, balance, and strength. Students have commented that they find my calming voice relaxing and my cueing easy to understand. Off of my mat, I love travel, long walks, trying my hand at gardening, and time spent on the golf course.
